I paint your wedding the way it felt.
Rooted in portraiture.
Made for weddings.
For more than twenty years, I’ve painted faces, gestures, and the quiet expressions that reveal who someone really is. Portraiture taught me to pay attention to the smallest details — the way light touches a cheek, the way a smile lives in the eyes.
Every wedding painting grows out of that same devotion. Classical, romantic, and deeply human — created not just to remember the day, but to honor the people at the heart of it.

The Live Painting Experience
Every painting begins long before the first brushstroke touches the canvas. I take time to understand your story, your setting, and the moments that matter most.
Arriving Early & Preparing the Space
I arrive one to two hours early to look over the venue, get familiar with the light, and understand the layout. This helps me choose the best spot to begin the painting and be ready when your moment unfolds..
Capturing the Moment as It Happens
Throughout the celebration, I observe and photograph key moments so I have the right details and lighting for the painting. I work quietly from the side, painting as the event naturally unfolds.
Studio Refinement & Final Painting
Once the live portion is complete, I bring the painting back to my studio for the detailed work. This is where the refinement happens—layering color, adjusting likeness, and adding the atmosphere that makes the piece feel true to your day.
A Life in Portraiture
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked as a portrait painter, studying faces, expressions, and the subtle ways people reveal themselves. Portraiture trained me to look carefully, to slow down, and to pay attention to what’s actually there — not just what’s obvious.
When I paint a wedding, I bring that same way of seeing with me. I begin the painting live, observing the light, the space, and the movement of the day as it unfolds. After the wedding, I continue the work in my studio, refining the painting with time and care until it feels complete.
My aim is not to impress, but to honor the moment — to create something that feels sincere, luminous, and lasting. A painting that carries the grace of the day forward, and remains meaningful long after the celebration has passed.
