I paint your wedding the way it felt.
a quiet presence at your wedding, capturing
one beautiful moment on canvas
Rooted in portraiture.
Made for weddings.
For more than twenty years, I’ve painted faces, gestures, and the quiet expressions that reveal who someone really is. Portraiture taught me to pay attention to the smallest details — the way light touches a cheek, the way a smile lives in the eyes.
Every wedding painting grows out of that same devotion. Classical, romantic, and deeply human — created not just to remember the day, but to honor the people at the heart of it.

A few of the stories I’ve had the honor to paint — from glowing ballrooms to castle lawns and cultural celebrations.
The Live Painting Experience
Every painting begins long before the first brushstroke touches the canvas. I take time to understand your story, your setting, and the moments that matter most.
Arriving Early & Finding the Moment
I arrive one to two hours before the celebration to walk the venue in quiet observation. I study the light, the architecture, and the natural spaces where meaningful moments tend to unfold. I’m not looking for a pose — I’m looking for a feeling, a place where something real will happen.
Painting the Moment as It Lives
When I begin, I work directly with the brush rather than a tight sketch. Using simplified lines and angles, I map the composition quickly — the couple, the surroundings, the flow of the scene. The painting grows through expressive strokes that establish the energy of the day. As the celebration continues, I refine and adjust, letting the piece evolve naturally until the forms feel true.
Studio Refinement & Final Heirloom
In the studio, the foundation created live on the wedding day becomes a fully realized painting. Across 30–80 hours, I develop every detail with care — expression, atmosphere, light, and the quiet emotion behind it all. This is where the artwork transforms into a timeless heirloom for your family.
A Life in Portraiture
For more than twenty years, I’ve painted people — their expressions, their stories, and the small, quiet moments that reveal who they are. Portraiture taught me to pay attention, to slow down, to notice what’s real.
When I paint a wedding, I bring that same sensitivity. I begin live on the day, responding to the light and movement around me, and later continue the work in my studio with patience and care as the piece takes on its full voice.
My hope is simple: to create a painting that feels sincere and alive — something your family can return to years from now and still feel the warmth of the moment.
